We have a prized 8 point white tail buck that is in bad need of cleaning, don’t want to ruin it.

Also they might be able to help you on the phone, they are a very reputable company with lots of taxidermy supplies.

Vacuum it, use a little diluted windex on the facial parts and Q-tips work great for small spaces. Good Luck & GOD BLESS! Jenny from Michigan.

DO NOT use Windex or any chemical agents, depending how old it is ,just use a paper towel dampened with plain warm water, get all the excess dust off first using a swiffer dust magnet or the like, then gently wipe with the grain of hair to remove the rest, use Q tips on the eyes ,use paper towel to wipe off the antlers as well ,change them often,no sense in spreading the dirt around, good luck

Best people to ask are the ones you did the taxidermy work. As your taxidermist. They will know how to clean and maintain your 8 pointer. They may even have some simple solutions to keep it clean and maintained for years to come.

Hope that helps
