October 7 2009 Lake County Illinois 6:28pm. Wind SW 9mph. 58 degrees. Clear, Barometer 29.97 Steady, Waxing Gibbous 86% of the Moon is Illuminated. Tonight the winds have calmed from the 25mph gusts the last couple days. At 6:02pm a doe & her fawn approached from the South West and milled around in the corn for about 15 minutes. They came to within 13 yards of my blind before they turned and headed West. It wasn't 20 minutes later and a nice 10 pointer came through and basically followed their path. I have this buck on video in velvet this summer (July 12 2009). My blind palace worked perfectly……Captured ONLY on www.HawgNSonsTV.Com

July 28 2009 Lake County Illinois, 6:28am. Wind WSW 7mph. 67 degrees. Partly Cloudy, 40% Chance of Thunderstorm Barometer 29.79 Steady,Waxing Crescent, 45% of the Moon is Illuminated. Big Whitetail Bucks in velvet up close. Branches and trees littered the ground from the storm the previous night. As I still hunted along a creek, glassing out into the swamp for antlers moving through the Cattails and Reedgrass, the flash of velvet antlers moving North through the tall grasses grabbed my attention. As the big 10 point Whitetail Buck crossed paths with me, I could see it was the beautiful deer that I now call Buddy. Buddy was not able to confirm it was me because I was not upwind of him, But I am sure he had a pretty good idea from my voice and the HawgNSons Unlimited True Timber Camouflage Cap that he has seen me wear many times in the field. As friendly as Buddy is to me, he didn't want to stick around to long without my scent confirmation. Buddy looks like his antler development is just about complete for this year…..Captured ONLY on www.HawgNSonsTV.Com

June 30 2009 Lake County Illinois,Wind NW 9mph. 60 degrees 1st buck 7:05am & bachelor group 7:40pm Hunting Big Illinois Whitetails in velvet with a video camera. With a 30% chance of rain and the temperature dropping a bit I thought it would be a great day to pursue big whitetail bucks. In the morning I still hunted for most of the time and was able to stalk up on two big bucks. I was able to get a quick sequence of a nice buck I never seen before. He looks like he has good mass and some non typical points. I tried to move in closer, using some brush to shield me but he vanished when I arrived where I last seen him. I was able to stalk within good video distance of a Big 10 point buck and a couple young bucks bedded near a island of the Oaks. The 10 pointer looks like he is going to be BIG! …… Captured ONLY on www.HawgNSonsTV.Com

It's that time of year when most of the bucks are fully developed & the velvet on there antlers is lightening in color. It's also the time of year when the mature bucks start to become more and more scarce as if they know hunting season is rapidly approaching. Although the best place to find the big bucks has been the soybean fields for the last week, this evening the clover field produced a group mature bucks on this property…..Captured ONLY on www.HawgNSonsTV.Com

Road Hunting with a video camera for Big Whitetail Bucks in velvet . I was headed to the field in pursuit of trophy whitetail bucks when I received a call from Brain Smith of www.Smith-Printing.Com. Brian spotted a couple nice bucks in a field close to where we hunt. In my effort to document as many whitetail bucks in the area as possible, I instruct every person willing, to call me immediately upon spotting ANY large whitetail bucks.(THAT ALSO MEANS YOU ) When I arrived the 10 pointer was running North as the bigger 9 pointer stood in front of a island of trees. I moved closer as I watched them feed East on the North side of the island of trees. As I slowly moved through the weeds looking into the island of trees, I spotted a buck standing off to the East. As I tried to move closer, I flushed 3 nice bucks out of the island of trees…..Captured ONLY on www.HawgNSonsTV.Com

Quick Clip 13 December 19 2008 3:37pm Northern Illinois. Northern Illinois was hit hard with 8-12 inches of snow that had stopped at noon. The deer were out feeding heavily. I have a lot of videos with BIG Whitetail Bucks that are in heavy cover like this clip. Usually I don't publish them but I decided sense the days are getting fewer with antlers still intact and to show an example of what I see a lot of, I would publish this clip. This clip is of 2 BIG Bucks, the 1st is a nice 10 pointer, the 2nd looks to me like a main frame 10 pointer with at least 1 sticker point or forked brow tine…..Captured ONLY on HawgNSonsTV!
