I have no idea how to do Taxidermy but I’m really interested. Can someone please give me some sort of tutorial? I also don’t know what sort of pelt to buy (just the top, or the full pelt, or what?). I’m looking at making a coyote or fox.

I’m not interested in mounting it, but rather closing it and stuffing it so it’s flexible and mobile. Thanks!

I don’t think you’re going to find many helpful answers here.

I for one think the practice is well … morbid and disgusting.

But good luck with it, you should google it.

Air dusters. They are cans of pressurized air that are used to dust things that are not easy to clean with a regular duster.

I think taxidermy is much more respectful than putting it in the damn ground and wasting the earth’s space, whether it’s with animals OR humans. Personally, I don’t think there’s anything creepy about Taxidermy – I think putting something in the ground to rot or in a furnace is less respectful. It’s easy to make jokes about a taxidermized animal or human, but theres nothing wrong with that.

In the ground. I don’t want a stuffed dead animal in my Living Room.

Worms need food too.
